Come and explore lush washes and transparent colors to create gorgeous, luminous paintings. If you’ve always wanted to try your hand at watercolors, but didn’t know where to begin, this is the class for you. If you’re not a beginner, join us to strengthen your skills and take your paintings to the next level. My class is a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere to engage your creative spirit!

Class size is limited, allowing for personalized instruction. I am very interactive and help you learn how to master the many wonderful effects of watercolor resulting in a masterful painting . Having the tools to create a successful painting are incredibly rewarding!

Instruction focuses on:

  • color mixing

  • glazing secrets 

  • controlling washes 

  • personalized instruction

  • learn which materials will get you great results

  • socialize with other creative souls

Quality art supplies are a big investment especially if you are not sure if watercolor is for you. I am offering a plan so that students may use professional watercolor supplies, you need bring nothing but yourself! This is on a first come first serve basis while supplies last.

Private Lessons and Semi-Private Lessons:.

They are one on one, intensive instruction to maximize your learning. They are conducted in my studio in Sparta. The fee is $60 for a 2-hour private session and $45 a 2-hour semi-private session with up to 3 people.
